Deanshanger community safety news

Dear resident,

We are aware of posts being shared on Facebook about a planned protest in Deanshanger on August, 30, 2025.

The right to peaceful and lawful protest is a fundamental element of any democracy, and we are committed to upholding and facilitating this. 

Fighting crime and protecting people are at the heart of what we do with the safety of our communities a priority and we will have a robust policing operation in place if a protest takes place and, as usual, our neighbourhood officers are out and about in their communities. 

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a community surgery on Monday, August 18, between 5pm and 6pm, near the Co-Op, High Street, Deanshanger, where you are invited to discuss your concerns.
